| Review: Danny Boyle continues his campaign never repeat the genre by giving us a fantastic psychological thriller that crosses so many boundaries Im not sure Im all comfortable with the word thriller - the only certainty is that it definitely psychological. Borrowing elements of film noir this exciting trip is short of greatness. So as you can imagine from the title, Trance visual, auditory and intellectual wonderful experience. Trance stars James McAvoy as Simon, auctioneer, which is mixed with the wrong group of thieves. Simon's auction house sold a painting? 27 million (?? 41 million) if a thief named Franck (Vincent Cassel) breaks in and tries to steal it. Can do this, he and his crew find the painting has disappeared, and Simon is the only person who knows where it is before Franck. Unfortunately for Franck, Simon suffers a severe blow to the head with all the chaos and can not remember where it is. After trying instead betrayed him unsuccessfully to turn to a hypnotist (Rosario Dawson), who are each memory and how the audience is going to find in this psychological journey into the painting can unbury . This movie will make you mesmerized as each member of the cast, I assure you.Dawson McAvoy and deliver quality, they treat their roles with such control that every little subtle movements of the face shows more than it should be, especially in Dawson character. Vincent Cassel next to them brings the story full force and with Danny Boyle they all bring Joe Aherne gracefully twitchy script for life.Boyle interesting enough to its 18A rating not willing to dilute his story, he a wider audience The meeting may be stuck, the man is not afraid to have graphic material in his film, like other directors who have tried the genre in a similar manner (ie, Chris Nolan, Inception). Cinematography is - as always with Boyle? beautiful and indeed in his own mind quite charming. He takes over the camera with such precision impossible asked him, his cinematic possibilities in question. The coolest aspect where the film's declaration of war on the senses with a chaotic and hectic soundtrack editing. The film is not without flaws. The film is based so heavily on deception of the public, that it is actually very easy to get lost, and unfortunately, lose interest in the film. Although I was not particularly feel this way, I can see why others would. While I have always been fascinated by the idea of an unreliable says to tell your story, if you switch from three perspectives are trying to decide what it is reliable sometimes too much focus away from your real estate agent, ck. In addition to this trance intellectual pleasure with enough twists and turns, the majority of people interested. His performances, style and attention to detail is enough to make a very balanced film. If you love films like Memento is definitely something to check out.7.5/10Be sure to check out my review site: thejoshlreviews.com, and my video review of this film here http:/ / youtu.be/xpCWBi5N6ew |
