Review: The usual suspects received many comments on his killer twist ending, which, though by no means the first in the history of cinema has had a huge impact (face Mr. Fincher and Shyamalan ...). But this film is much more than a surprise ending! It is meticulously scripted, flawlessly acted masterpiece that stands up to repeated views. Every time I watch it I notice some new detail or get more pleasure from the performance or scene. This movie really put Kevin Spacey on the map, but all the ensemble cast is exceptional, even Stephen Baldwin (!), Which never appeared in a movie this good before or after. I also got a kick from Paul Bartel (Death Race 2000, Eating Raoul) cameo and ultra-cool Peter Greene (gravity, Pulp Fiction) too brief appearance. Bartel is sorely missed and Greene per day (mark my words!) Will be the star he deserves to be.Director Bryan Singer still live up to the promise shown here with his latest film, Apt Pupil average and disappointing X-Men . For all the praise he (of course excellent) cast got the real star of The Usual Suspects, Christopher McQuarrie sensational script, one of the best in the modern era, and one that truly deserved its Oscar.It really can be better than This! One of the greatest movies ever made, whenever everything. An unforgettable experience.
