Review: Revenge is hardly a new concept in film-making. Main theme, however, the ride in the rear seats to be filled from the oven. Said that in all star cast, the story unfolds slowly but firmly. Located in rural America today, cinematography captures beautiful and glory that is fading into peshëne war and the economy. Cast skillfully fleshes out different characters creating credibility and giving them a rare level of depth. This makes palpable atmosphere and probably makes an element of human drama real star of the film. The entire cast is excellent and necessary, however, Christian Bale and Woody Harrelson absolutely steal the show. How bad-to-a-bone script villain Harrelson is awesomely mean, just his presence on the screen stirring anxiety. Alternatively, Bale plays well, but the problem, first sentenced to life, his dissolved in a while. Busy director Scott Cooper, in a segment of an interview with Carson Daly. He cited the desire to influence and to immerse the audience in his films. In this regard, I consider this effort to be an unqualified success. During some scenes, I found myself in the spirit of the action and the emotions portrayed on the screen by horror release, anxiety, tension, and in particular, relieved breath calmly. More drama than action, my tone was similar to The Place Beyond the pines, another drama filled with a certain flavor of crime. Also, I felt that Pearl Jam number that opens and closes the film is an excellent choice for target mood and deserves attention. Overall, this film is doing very well, despite the lack of glitter and flash of movement action. As a drama, I highly recommend it for tifozëte genre.
