Review: I saw the show last night, and the gangster group, to say the least, I was unimpressed. Sean Penn, Josh Brolin and Ryan GOSLING together like I enjoyed the last two films (Zombieland and 30 minutes or less) with a director I have good hopes for the film with a strong cast. So what went wrong? As a summary, it is a cliché? There are gangster films, and once tried so hard to be like LA Confidential and intangible. This feature has been improved during the 90's, I do not think it is appropriate for this generation could film. You Cohen Sean Penn as Mickey decided he wanted to become the king of Los Angeles, and everyone had to take a trip. Nick Nolte LA police chief, who is the way it will be, and the hard-nosed, do-as-I hired you tired of playing Sgt. John Omar (Josh Brolin) to establish a crack team, taking down Cohen. Hence the round-up-compulsory two-focus groups where he got smart guys, and past his prime and side clearance, a brand of black men, and the police do not want to drive in the first, but the name must be banned to enter the fray. Then the typical bad guy hunted, some shoot outs where an incredible amount of bullets flying, and no one has the touch, very flat and you're wondering why I love these two together where no other reason, they look really good. There is also a movie where I think the audience exploded in laughter very unwarranted. The only real redeeming quality is the moment of climax, Sean Penn, Mickey Cohen powerful performance as it is intense. I was disappointed with all the gangster group and feel like the whole movie has nothing to do with the gangster genre incorporates a new table. |
